News v2.0c
Addition: the Cabient 3D view uses small
circles as 1 dm scale tics so tics will be
visible in both S, F and T views.
Fix: If CLF2 MINBAND was
given as < 50 Hz
when a distribution file was created:
Reader
: prevents it and gives an error message.
Viewer: displays old files with this issue without
creating any problems.

News v2.0b
Changes: display for 6 dB beam-widths
and Q/DI for slightly unsymmetrical
polars.
Fixes: a potential CLFEdit file size
error under Win7; a false "file corrupt"
message for v2 files; a potential
failure of loading a web page
Known issues: CLF2 MINBAND must be
>= 50 Hz (see CLF Specs section 12.2)
but the reader gives no error for lower
values.

The Trial reader/viewer reads, verifies, and displays the contents of a CLF text-format file. This enables loudspeaker manufacturers to fully test the procedure before deciding on offering their loudspeaker data in the CLF format. To create actual distribution files requires registration (free).

Update For an already installed Trial Authoring kit.

Note: registered CLF authors can also install this update and will receive info on an updated licensed reader via e-mail.
